My 360 died but it wasn't RRoD so they wanted me to pay 90 bucks. Instead i bought a used one off my friend for 75. Problem is when i put in my hard drive i cant play my XBLA games and my Dead Space save files don't work.

Theres no error, my XBLA games just show up as trials and if i go to dl them again it wants me to pay again.

I think if you ring M$ what they do is take away all the games you've bought and give you back every point you spent back, then you can purchase them all again.
