played two hours last night but needed to get to bed.
anyone else here playing Too Human.
seems to be a severe love-hate thing going on around the net over this release.
was the demo worse than the game (which happens) or was there just something about the game that is turning people off so much?
the control scheme is throwing me off a lot. i am so trained to use the right stick for my camera, that i have killed myself 3 times slashing at nothing while taking damage trying to spin that cam back around. after hour two i was feeling alright.
payne, imageshack pics dont load here at school so i dont know what your reply was.
Most games that have tended to be in development since PS1 turn out shite ( I know it hasn't been aslong as that!). Demo was poor, may rent the game and see if its better. SK have a good pedigree
i played maybe another three hours last night. i had fun
the control scheme is so different that it actually took me like 3 hours in to feel comfortable playing. now that i know the controls without thinking first and have leveled up, the game is fun! once the enemies begin to vary and attack in the dozens or more it is intense.
there have been two very boring parts thus far though:
1. in cyberspace sometimes you walk around for a while, feel lost, find like a little loot, wander around very slowly interacting with nothing... and realize there is nothing left here to see, so you walk way back to the exit.
2. after the first mission you end up in a town like area. there it reminded me of the places in mass effect ot kotor where you meet people, buy and sell stuff, and get some side missions.... well here you can buy new armor and weapons, but mostly you walk (slowly walk) like 5 miles and learn wher to go next, walk there and begin the next mission. took me like 25 minutes just to walk around, see a couple cut scenes and walk some more back to the ship... hmmmm.
that is all i can see being the thing people are against in the game.
if they are upset about the gameplay, fighting, or controls... i think because it is just so different than everything before it for them (it is for me).
Yeah idk once you got the controls down it was pretty easy, and it kept me interested with the weapons.
I'd rent it and beat it, but then again I didn't even notice it until Justin said there was a demo out
Oh and the storyline...groundbreaking

i hated the demo. the idea is cool, and i enjoy the leveling and customization. but something about how the game looks, feels and flows really turned me away. i probably won't be playing this ever.
