Why no zelda? Seriously... I haven't played it but I know it's one of the best games nintendo has to offer.. through-out all it's consoles.

I would recommend Zelda and Super Paper Mario as great games. We also enjoy Mario Party 8 as well (great party game). Brawl is the best. Mario Galaxy and MP3 are must haves also.

I just ordered Super Paper Mario.
I was thinking about Zelda, was looking at it in the store, but I doubt it's my kind of game.

Zelda didn't impress me. You're better off buying Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past and the original Zelda from the Virtual Console. Zelda II is also pretty good, but the others take priority. Man, I hope they hurry up and get Majora's Mask on there. I have it on N64 and GameCube but want to go through it again on Wii.

Definitely get Super Mario Galaxy too - probably Mario's best outing since Super Mario World.

Metroid Prime 3... Also not great. Better off with the GameCube prequels, or, again, the Virtual Console Metroid releases. Super Metroid is in my opinion the finest 2D game ever made.

I agree Mario Galaxy is a must have. However, I found Zelda TP and MP3 to be great games and more then worth the buy. I enjoyed both and continue to play MP3 now and then. I would at least rent them and check them out but I loved them.

I got a wii specifically for brawl. If I wanted zelda I would have just gotten the gamecube version. I didn't want to get super mario galaxy. Quite frankly the only games im interested in are brawl and maybe okami. Paper Mario was fun I just don't know if I could sit through another one.
