I have been playing this non stop since the release even ho I don't have the game myself.

There have been tons of problems with SSBB on Wii (it seems mostly those from launch, as mine is) several sites are reporting this and Nintendo seems to be saying them same thing as they have setup a support area for SSBB including a Free and Fast (what they consider fast I don't know) Repair Process of sending them your Wii. I don't know how wide spread this is but it looks like a lot of people are reporting it and Nintendo is also expecting this problem with launch systems.

I don't have the game yet. I plan to pick it up in a day or two. My Wii is from the midnight launch so we will see if I have any problems. I might go rent it tonight just to check my Wii before buying the game.

Mine is fine. Though I didn't get it at launch. Oh, the random internet play works pretty well, most matches i had were fine but a few lagged. I had 2 disconnects from wifi but i think that was because I wasn't doing anything.

I don't plan to purchase mine until next week. My wife limits my gaming money to only my freelance checks and a client has delayed payment until next week. I wanted to rent it last night to check my system and play but they were all rented out. Can't wait to get on the game. A friend of mine who got his Wii at launch (same place as me actually) had to send his in as it wouldn't play the Brawl disk. Kinda sucks but at least Nintendo was prepared and offered the support and free handling of the problem.

I'm planning to get a wii and brawl very soon my friend reserved it at 2 places (why I don't know) so he gave me his extra reserve for brawl. So I just need to find a wii and get it.

Its the best time for a Wii with some great games. Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, etc.

This game does look kinda awesome, we've been playing the N64 version in college on someones laptop(3 xbox360 controllers + the wireless adapter).
