Endless Ocean

Bought this game yesterday (yeah, I tend to keep buying games instead of putting my modchip to use ;)) and I'm a couple hours in, so I thought I'd share my first thoughts.

Amazingly good game actually. I picked it up at a discount and actually did not think it would be this good.
From the reviews I read, I expected it to be a somewhat shallow and dull game. The whole "it's an experience more so than it is a game" thing really intrigued me though.

The amount of content is huge, and all sea creatures are clearly crafted with care, as they are very lifelike. Encounters with new creatures, big and small (but particulary big), will give you a sense of wonder and awe.
If you enjoy sealife documentaries such as The Blue Planet, think of this as an interactive documentary.
Do not go into this game expecting a challenge however, as you will be disappointed. Compared with a shooter/action game, the pace is very slow.

To sum things up, this is a very entertaining experience for anyone who is open for it. If you are interested in trying something new and different, this game may be right for you.
