PS3 - Update ver 2.30

As of April 15, 2008, your PLAYSTATION 3 system will gain a system software update when it goes online, upgrading to version 2.30 and allowing you to access the redesigned PLAYSTATION Store (PS3) which benefits from an array of features.

Included in this revamp is a new page layout and interface for easier navigation, permitting users to move between pages faster by pressing the X and circle buttons. You can now also view your PLAYSTATION Network account avatar on the pages of PLAYSTATION Store (PS3) and the content status display page has been given icons to indicate the status of each item, showing you what has been purchased and what is currently in your checkout cart. This revamp will not affect PLAYSTATION Network accounts or the virtual wallet system, so you can take advantage of all these treats and trimmings without needing to change a thing.

System software update version 2.30 also allows Blu-ray Disc playback to support DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio output - so not only are you getting the best from the Store, but also superb enhancements to your movies as well.

For those on here with a PS3 update 2.30 is now available to download to your PS3. Inc is the above and probably loads more of little features. The main bit is the Playstation Store update. Why they needed to change something that worked and was good is beyond me - but there you go. The new Blu-Rays features will be good for some

Due also soon - is the Metal Gear Solid Beta Keys - free for everyone in PAL/EU regions. Meh I ain't fussed - MGS4 is single player first and foremost for me.

That's awesome, nyler said he hated the ps3 store and that it was lacking in content and the way it's layed out was somewhat annoying. I didn't look around to much, is there a date for home yet?

No date for Home yet - doesn't bother me one bit. I just want the in-game XMB. Home could either be soon, early summer, late summer etc etc.

I'm not hyped for anything on the ps3 at all, not even MGS4. What I mostly want is the getaway 3, its so far away I just don't care though.

Yeah lol. I liked the first one alot. Second I liked too. But the first just had something about it.

The missions on #2 where they came into the police station and that opening level, honestly... unfuckingbeatable by any game. I loved the yardie strongholds on the first one too.

One thing which also owned hard is how you got to play the same story, but from different perspectives('Bad guy' and the cop).

It's not but imo.. It didn't try to be, it was much more story driven.
