Home does look.. kinda badass.

'kinda' is used loosely.

I like the whole mini game stuff ie pool, chess, bowling.

The whole socializing side of home though looks rather 'zzz' to put it politely.

Is it an extra feature or will It actually replace the dashboard type look? If so then It might be kinda cool but if it's a feature you can use It seems pretty pointless.

I think they're replacing the whole dashboard and you access stuff through your personal home. That can be kinda cool I guess but also annoying if you just want to get the fuck in a game (likely to annoy us after 10min).

The only thing apart from the mini games which looks cool is the 'home' area only because it looks like a place where tourniments are taken place in.

At the minute it seems pretty useless which is why I hope it's just another feature and won't replace the dashboard.

What I meant about the developers though is there has been talk about them integrating their games into it in different ways. So, I mean, if they can do something interesting with that it might be cool. Otherwise, Home might be something that I open once and play around with it for a little bit, but once the novelty has worn off, never open again... there just needs to be more subtance to it.

I'm gonna say it will because I've read stuff about items being in your house which you go and use to access typical dashboard features.

I really dont see the point of Home at all. Surely most people are happy with their PC with Facebook, Myspace or Bebo and putting the same concept on a console sounds daft to me. I really couldnt give a rats ass about the social aspect, get some decent games to play with a lobby system and friends list that works and you dont need the millions of £££/$$$ devlopment that Sony has put into this.
