Plus, you can add Bionic Commando to the list of games that will support trophies at launch. Jesus Christ I can't wait for that game - Bionic Commando on NES was basically 95% of my childhood.

Also, I don't know what you're talking about with this whole "durrr PS3 needs more good gaems" shit - I was scanning GAME's list of upcoming PS3 titles earlier and thinking "Damn, gonna be spending alot of money on games in the next few months..."

Lots of good games coming, but you can keep Heavy Rain - I have no interest in that at all.

Do you know what games he's buying or are you just unaware of the PS3 exclusive releases for fall? Or you just talking about yourself?

With Resistance 2, Valkyria Chronicles, SOCOM, LittleBigPlanet, WipEout HD, I'm gonna be broke as well. Not to mention the multiplat and PC games. =/

Fracture,
BioShock (it has new content & trophies so may buy again),
FarCry 2,
Fallout 3 (unlikely, but we'll see),
James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace (looks promising - maybe a return to the days of good Bond games?),
Left4Dead,
Call of Duty: World at War (mehh... maybe),
Mirror's Edge,
Resistance 2,
Tomb Raider Underworld (unlikely),
Aliens: Colonial Marines (can't wait for more info on this),
Bionic Commando (yesterday, please),
Killzone 2,
Street Fighter 4,
Resident Evil 5,
WipEout HD.

These are just the ones I found while searching GAME's upcoming PS3 titles list - there are probably more that I've forgotten about and aren't on the list. TimeSplitters 4 for example, is almost certainly going to appear on PS3 but isn't on their list due to being in the planning stages.

You can be a baby and highlight the exclusive titles if you really want, but personally I didn't buy the machine to gloat at users of the (in my opinion vastly inferior) Xbox 360, and don't care if they're also available on that system.

Lol, if you own both consoles it's beyond annoying if the nearly all the games which are on one console also release on the other, it makes the purchase completely useless imo.

I'm not unaware tj either, I'm buying a possible 2 maybe 3 if I'm feeling like a baller IRL.

Depends on which games you're looking at though. PS3 has 150+ exclusives and I'm sure the 360 has just as many. If most of the games you want are multiplat though, then yea, really not much point. It seems like a lot of developers have started to go multiplat with their games now... not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I'm talking about exclusives worth getting such as these type of exclusives:

The getaway 3(cancelled), mgs4, LBP. Not some unheard game like 'Angel Rings' or 'Hot Shots Golf 5'. I'm greatly disappointed with the PS3 since buying it, FF's gone, getaway 3 is cancelled L.A noire seems so close to being multi-plat... it's lost it's previous RPG king status etc.

Oh and rumour: home in october.

Well, since "good" is subjective one can only list games that we can assume will be A+ titles and/or popular and/or will sell a lot which would include:

God of War III, Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy Versus, Disgaea 3, Heavy Rain, Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier, Killzone 2, inFamous, L.A. Noire, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted 1 & 2, Motostorm 2, MGS4, Resistance 1 & 2, Shin Megami Tensei, SOCOM Confrontation, Team Ico Project, Tekken 6, Ratchet & Clank series, Twisted Metal, Zone of the Enders 3, Dark Cloud 3, Valkyria Chronicles, White Knight Story. Then there are games that are just rumored exclusive for the time being like Kingdom Hearts 3. And of course there are the PSN titles which may be just as popular/good/sell as well as some full releases but we won't list for the sake of the argument because I don't think to many people buy a system based on the downloadable games.

So not a bad list, just depends on what your tastes are.

Well two of those games arn't confirmed exclusives (GOW3), l.a noire looks like a multi plat already. I'm not descriditing the ps3 as most of the great games are multi ie gta4, cod4, skate etc but owning both the ps3 doesn't satisfy me... yet.

Some new screens come out for white knight story aswell btw, whens it out? What's Valkyria Chronicles? Sounds like an RPG lol. Will buy twisted metal too.. it's always a game which slips my mind.
