Socom Beta.

It launches the 1st of september for USA and EU and is free, I don't know how you get it though so anyone know? (it's different for all countries apparently).

Last I heard EU's wasn't announced yet. And for US you have to pre-order at GameStop or EB. And they give you a code or whatever.

EU beta was announced today to be released same time as the US.

And yeah I thought that too but I enjoyed GRAW a lot, this just looks less hi-tech and way more detailed. I have a feeling it'll be better than GRAW (SP definetly) but mutliplayer is where it's at.

I'll try this sometime, I just know I'm gonna be disappointed when it plays nothing like the old ones.

From watching some videos it looks ALRIGHT but it seems like people need a clip or two into them, nothing like GRAW which is what I liked. 2-3 shots and you're dead which made seige exetremely tactical with one life.

Yeah I didn't hate GRAW or anything. It was alright fun. But I'm just saying compared to Socom, or imitated in socom, it will be gay.

Yeah I see a MP video it doesn't seem how I'd expect it to be, SP was flawless from what I remember, the MP just looks all 'typical', I want that tactical gameplay.

I got a feeling it won't live up to my hype, still free beta... a reason to play the ps3.

Yeah, me and steven where hardcore into Socom back in the day. But Socom 3+ were shit. And this one isn't even developed by Zipper. So who knows.

When I get a ps3, I'll rent this at least.
