I always said I would get it for Heavy Rain. And that doesn't even have a year release date yet. Plus I really doubt it won't go 360 too.

That will be the only reason I get one. And I'll still play everyone game on 360 over ps3. Achievements and live > than all baby.

Yea only real reason I would see to get it is that it is a cheap Blu Ray player, but then again I don't give a fuck about Blu Ray. LittleBigPlanet looks amazing though..

It's definently failed in the next gen race, it used to have a real loyal RPG fanbase which was like the backbone of the console IMHO. .. Seems the tables turned.

I just see it getting old. Not worth a ps3 either way.

Um, no. All PS3 consoles and games are, and will continue to be, region-free.

cdr, remember the import duty - I'm sure it applies in this case and it will likely add a hefty chunk to the cost of your console.

Ah, you don't always get import tax, I've ordered skateboards and quite a lot of stuff from the U.S before, I think it depends if they send it as a 'gift'. I'm sure he expects to pay more anyway for it due to the colour.
