PS3 & the games.

I think I'll be picking one up next week, parents owe me £290 and I think I'm getting it. I'll be picking up MGS4 (chea) but is there anything which might be worth picking up? If you know of a good deal then feel free to link me.

The decent games are Uncharted Drakes Fortune and er er lol. No U DR, Motorstorm and of course MGS4 are a must IMO. Other worthy titles inc Rachet and Clank, Res FOM, F1 etc.

You can get some games dirt cheap now, new aswell

Ditto. That game does look awesome, nothing else amazes me though. I wish LBP was a Microsoft Game Studios game instead so it was 360 exclusive. Ahwell, I can only dream. I would never buy a console at the current prizes they are for a single game. I would be tempted to buy the ps3 in a year or two when Blu Ray is more of a necessity.

It'll be worth it in the long run. There aren't too many amazing games out for it now but there certainly will be, plus you'll have a bluray player. =p

Which one did you get btw? 40gig or 80gig?

MGS4 will def be the first game I pick up. I hear it's amazing. I'm going back and playing 2 and 3 now.

Squarenix is coming out with The Last Remnant which looks really good. Also think White Knight Story comes out this year. Bunch of other ones still TBA like a Tales game, Valkryia Chronicles, Disgaea 3, and the multiplatform Star Ocean 4.
