It's an acquired taste. I hate the shit out of DotA until, at college, me and 7 other people were up all night playing LAN DotA, and I learned how to play it.

People are really unforgiving to newbs when you play DotA. If you want to learn how to play, hit me up on AIM or something and I can teach you. I know a public teamspeak server I can teach you on.

Dota is just... dynasty warriors on wc lol. It's fun but so hard to get into games, insta kick. If you have the map, they ask you questions you don't know the answer to = kick.

No, because there are actual Dynasty Warrior maps for WC3 out there.

Really? from what I remember you theres like.. spawn A + B and units spawn from those corners down little paths and you need to push down a path and destroy a base.

Only played it 2-3 times cause it's annoying trying to join one.

Yeah, but I don't think thats like DW at all. I mean, sure, DW has spawn points, but it also has massive static armys that stand around waiting to get its ass kicked. And there aren't bases to destroy in DW, just a General. I never remember destroying buildings in any DW.

In DW there was 3 bases + towers, destroy the other bases and units stop spawning there. I need to get that map again actually... I've lost it.

I've never played WC3. I know, I fail. Really want to pick it up though. It'd probably make playing WoW a little more interesting knowing some of the lore.
