Runescape is fine, but it does download game files, not just java, you already have the JRE on your computer, it downloads the files for the JRE to interpret.

Also, yes patriotism does tend to lead to ignorance.

i was just joking about the patriotism, however its not like those files harm your computer. im pretty sure other online games such as world of warcraft put much much more files onto your computer, like 5 gb of files.

I played runescape for a bit when my little brother used to play it.
Was fun, but repetitive.

Well it's offical then, runescape does nothing harmful. It does what every website does(more-so what the browser does).

Pico you are right, however I think the point of this topic is to discuss reactions of the update am I correct? I personally love the update, it brings color and detail to a relatively cheap but simply fun game.

Yup, I never cared much about the graphics anyway.

What lvl are you? I'm like 50-69, somewhere around there and I have like 50,000 in the bank, I used to mine in the wildness or some rare ore(often had fights lol), then run back, smith it, sell the armour, save the cash lol.

Brings back memories.
