Two great looking games hit Steam

Well, I just got my laptop back and reinstalled Steam, and found that two really kick ass games hit the shop.

Savage 2 - If you played Savage 1, you know what it's about. It you haven't I wouldn't be surprised because I never heard a lot about Savage 1 and it was really good. It's a multiplayer game where you have one commander that views the world in a RTS view, building stuff and directing a few limited NPCs. Everyone else plays as a foot soldier and you fight to destroy the enemy stronghold. You can play as several different classes, as long as the commander is building the buildings and doing the research. Savage 1 is fun as hell and is released as freeware now which can be found with a quick Google.

EDIT: Oh right. Their are two sides to play as too. Humans, who have somewhat steampunk-ish weapons while keeping a tribal look, and Beasts, who are melee biased and use magic.

Everyday Shooter - I really like old shoot em up games, and with the spurt of them since Geometry Wars it's has been fun finding new ones that are good out of the many that are just "meh". Everyday Shooter goes into the category of shoot em ups but doesn't go into the same one as Geometry Wars. Everyday Shooter has a great emphasis on its music, which is a really great mix of guitar tracks. They blend with the levels, who's general concept of how to play change as you go on, unlike Geometry Wars where you just shoot EVERYTHING. I really want this one.

Dude, I tried to play the first Savage and fuck me is that game hard and impossible to understand.


Me and my friend gave up on that game so fast but I'm not gonna lie Savage 2 looked sick.

That is the best way I can describe Everyday Shooter in text. I tried watching videos about it, and it did it more justice then trying to talk about it, but I never got the full impact of how awesome this game really is until I bought it. Please, do yourself a favor and buy this. The soundtrack is amazing, the gameplay is addicting, and if Jesus were alive today he would play this all the damn time.
