I wouldn't say mainstream is dead either, I would just say it's not where the true music lies. Artists like DMX, Jay Z, Lupe, Kanye West, 50cent(YES) etc still keep it alive.

Oh and, every video you go on you see people dissing the artist and getting a thumbs down. Look on his shitty big song, lots of disses... THUMBS up lol.
