Anyway, this is about the closest thing to hiphop that I listen to.

They're ok. Not that good.
Generally their songs sounds like they're playing around. Then it's polka, then it's turntablism, then it's catchy hip-pop (if Pico allows me to label Make My Day like that) but it's never refined, always sketchy and sometimes (see The Evil Needle) it is downright amateuristic with the horrid repetition going on.

Hehe, guess you view it a whole lot different than me.
The playing around thing really makes them original for me.
And live they are absolutely fantastic.

The Evil Needle is more of a trance song to be honest and you can't say that trance ain't repetitive. ;)
But once again, I love that in that song. It just fits.

And as for hip-hop. These songs aren't hip-hop per se. But stuff from their earlier albums DEFINTELY is.
