I remember they did the same thing w/ the Land Before Time movies when I was a kid. Tbh, the first one was great but the next ten or so (I think it was that many) were retarded. It was like "let's take what was great about the first movie (the art style and bad ass dinosaur fights.) and then make it a two hour sing-a-long shit-fest."

This is/was because Steven Spielberg, who was part of the 1st film along w/ David Bluth (who imo was a genious as far as animated films went), had absolutely nothing to do w/ the other dozen straight to DVD films.

I used to get that movie out every time we went to the video store.
