Best war movies?

1. Saving Private Ryan
2. Blackhawk Down
3. We Were Soldiers

That films not so serious imo, it has a few comedy elements.

Films I mentioned really.. serious, can't explain it.

Black Hawk Down (still all-time favorite, my wife's step-dad was over there during this time. He wasn't one out in the first group that was trapped but he was in the search parties afterwards that went back in (at the end of the movie) to get bodies left, etc).

The Kingdom (although not fully a 'war' movie, it shows another aspect of war instead of soldiers, but with investigators, which I thought was an awesome movie).

I also loved most of the ones listed above.

A few things annoyed me in the Kingdom, it was the comments one of the FBI was saying(It was average for me). I saw Tears Of The Sun Breifly but cannot remember anything about it. I may get it when I go to work tonight.

The Kingdom became one of my top movies. What comments are you talking about?

Tears Of The Sun I thought was good (it stars Bruce Willis). I liked it because it followed a small group of guys instead of back and forth between a lot of different people and you saw more ground action.

Like when they're speeding in the car, one explained about why they're speed(so anyone following would stand out) but he proceeded to make dumb remarks.
