Is this a remake of FF7? If so... maybe the ps3 will enter my hands sooner than later. or is it just that demo to test the ps3?

Opening scene is exactly the same, I'd love it if they remade the game.

Speaking of FFVII, I borrowed it and VIII from a friend but apparently my PS2 doesn't like black PS1 discs. Does playing on an emulator suck? Can someone link me to one?

I tried playing it on an emulator, had trouble so I gave up. You can easyily find them in google though.

I think the title of the topic is for a PSP game, but the video was to show off the ps3. I got slightly confused + excited lol.

Hm..I actually watched the video now. It was posted 2 years ago, so I'd say just a tech demo, unless you can find anything else from it.

That video you posted is the PS3 tech demo. It was a teaser way back when (2005) the PS3 was first announced, but there is no FFVII remake game in the works. It was a teaser/tech demo and nothing more.

Can't wait to play Crisis Core tbh. Don't think it's released in europe yet, but I'll probably just torrent it.

They should remake it tbh, I'd buy a PS3 then, I'd have 3-4 BIG good games to get.

Yeah, Crisis Core is a PSP prequel and the vid is the an old tech demo for the PS3. When it was released Square Enix denied rumors of a remake. Then I remember hearing they were planning on including it in the Compiliation of Final Fantasy VII (aka the Milking of Final Fantasy VII) but now I hear that they're not. So honestly, who knows. I think it would be a wise move on their part to do so, and why not with all the spinoff, prequel, sequel shit they have done lately? Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

IMO will be a bad game.
Spinoff games usually are shit.
A remake however, would be awesome, the FFIII remake on DS is awesome, they kept it almost as hard as the NES one.

On a side note, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals: Ring of Fates is very good.
