It may well be a good game, but as a reviewer, it is pretty hard to give what is essentially FFVII a bad review.

Apparently you haven't read any Dirge of Cerebus reviews. That game got unanimously bad scores.

Anyay once again Dirge of Cereburus deseved whateverbad scores it got it was way to easy.

As for Crisis Core, my minimal playtime on it proved beneficial and will pursuade me to buy the game. Mostly for the story line as i am a FF7 fan, the graphics were immense especially for a psp but the gameplay for me let it down. Im not a fan of the whole running around and then signalling Zack to do things i prefer how it was originally.

The tech demo was incredible and really made me think that they were re-making it but unfortunatly no sign of that yet. They have a large potential market that they could sell millions of copy's to if they re-made it for the ps3. Would also give people a reason to buy the ps3 like pico.

I watched a video on gamespot the other day talking about FF7 in general and near the end of the video it says "Even if you can't get your hands on a copy of FF7 now, you might be able to in the future" I dont know if this was said to excite those in thinking are they gonna re-make it? or are they just gonna re-release a ps1 game?

If they re-made FF7 i would buy it instantly and none stop play it one of the greatest games of its time and still is for those who replay it.

Dirge of Cerberus ran a somewhat parallel storyline, centered around Vincent, it is an action/shooter game.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough, but Dirge of Cerberus is in almost all respects, dissimilar to the original FFVII, from what I gather this one is a prequel to FFVII, using the same type of gameplay.

Supposedly like the Kindom Hearts gameplay although i never tried that game so i couldn't say. But this prequel battle system is silly compared to what original FF games should be. Perhaps if you got into it, it might become more enjoyable but at the moment the only reason i'd buy it would be for the story.

Crisis Core is a pretty good game and my favorite on the PSP...Although I don't know of that many good games on PSP so it isn't hard. Anyway, it's got a modified KH game play engine for battles if that helps. The story fills in a lot of gaps and kinda makes you sad. There's a love thing going on in it that is really innocent and stuff.
