GTA China Town Wars

So for the first time GTA is coming to Nintendo, exclusive to the DS in November. Apparently a new graphics engine is being used. That’s all I know.

Will it be top down or 3D? How big will the map be? How much freedom of play will it offer? Will it actually look any good graphics wise?

Your thoughts?

Personally I think it could go either way, either really really good or really really bad. But my opinion is limited as im not a big fan of handhelds.

It'll most likely be top down and be shit. I loved playing the old GTA's back in the day but now it just wouldn't be worth it imo.

Also, being a pretty much video game expert, I'm gonna go ahead and predict now that this game is going to be only for the DS and not be ported to the 360, you can put money down on that.

Anyway, it could be alright. Would have rather seen it on the PSP though.

Nintendo's strict content filtering policy and online safeguards will see to that. Just like they ruined Maniac Mansion in the 80's.

Of course, I could be wrong - I mean they have published some adult titles without shitting on them - Perfect Dark, Geist, Eternal Darkness and Resident Evil (Gamecube) being a few examples.

They're not adult in the same way GTA is though. GTA doesn't just have blood and violence, but also some very strong messages and imagery. Then there's the sex of course...

I don't know, I just can't see this being worthwhile.

Meh, I don't think anyone really expects a real deep GTA on the DS. It'll be a different experience for sure but that doesn't mean it won't be fun.
