Ubuntu, what to do with it?

Format, and install Windows.
Really, I don't get what all the buzz is about any Linux distros, apart from it being free. I guess that makes it useful when you're making a system on the cheap, or in developing countries. But most people buy new computers pre-built, and they always come with a Windows OS installed anyway.
It may be less resource-intensive, but for what it makes up for in general speed it lacks in its obscure ways of doing things. Don't get me wrong, I love command line as a way of navigating as its faster, but it's generally a task-and-a-half to try and install anything, in particular hardware drivers. Everything is much easier to do in Windows, taking less time.
And it looks better.
It makes me laugh. I do computer science at uni, and my department is so anti-MS it's unreal. But then in real-world jobs where most software developers work with Windows Operating Systems, design apps for the Windows OSs and generally ignore Linux, it really does make me question why my uni has made me work under Unix environments for so long. It's only frustrating when I come to use Command Prompt in Windows and I instinctively type 'ls' and it doesn't work.
