What connection have I missed? It wont turn on.
I moved everything from a small case to a larger one because the CPU fan was directly infront of the PSU so it overheated but when I put it back together in the new case it doesn't work.
I think its to do with the wires i am holding in the 1st pic and I reckon they go into the connector i am holding it infront of but i have already tried every combination i think.

You need to connect the POWER SW (not POWER LED - that just lights the LED on the case when the power is on) to the corresponding jumper on the board, otherwise the power button isn't connected to the board.

I got it right. Also the CMOS jumpers were muddled up and the bios couldn't detect the hardrive till I messed about in the alternate bios settings.
I got it all working but now it wants me to activate windows and I cant.

My motherboard is an old Legend QDI. It has 2 bios's that you can switch between. One is an abstract motherboard one and the other is an Avent.
They have jumpers to pick between them and the CMOS battery.

One of the guys on Overclockers told me that if i wanted to get into the votage settings to overclock the cpu i'd have to use the abstract one as the Award BIOS wouldnt cater for it.
