Please stop using screenshots or other bad quality images, 'cause I'm sorry to say but they really don't look good at all. If you really have to make some, please use high res wallpapers/artwork/concepts/CG etc.
And for regular members; Please keep them game related, none of those 'I wanna make it match my signature' bullshit.
I'm not trying to be a dickhead, wanting people only to use the ones I make, but they just don't look good and they're clashing with the skin in my opinion.
If you want an avatar from a specific game, request one, rather than trying to do one yourself.
