Level Designer?

So I've been looking into a level design program or something like that. I dl a demo of 3d world studio but it was too hard to start out. I dont want something extremely easy but kinda learn as you go thing. and eventually once good enough you can make good stuff. What's out there? Preferably something with a free trial or something so I can test it out.

Well did you just expect to download a program and then just automatically be good at it? This will take lots of practice buddy, sounds like you think it should be easier than it really is.

Some programs are easier to work in payne... c4d is much easier than 3DSM.

Read his first post, he tried a program.. it was to hard. Nothing hinted at him thinking it's to easy, he's asking for alternative programs.

Level design, go with Maya to start with.

thankyou pico. You OBVIOUSLY didnt get MY point.. never once did i mention "man i just want an easy as program" i'm not some newb. i know this aint easy. i realize the time and effort put into these things. you just dont create a level overnight. i'm not an idiot.
