Funnily enough, I tried playing this today. I bought a Gamecube for FF:Chrystal Chronicles, because I was intrigued by the GBA adapter thing. My mate and I played it for ages, despite it being quite shit. My mate loved it though, which sort of gave me more reason to hate it. I hate his taste in games lol.

But back to Sunshine... what a boring game. I tried playing it for half hour, but couldn't get into it. Though to be honest, I've never been a big fan of Mario. More of a Sonic person myself. I actually bought a Sonic that came out for it before this Mario, but the disc was scratched (pre-owned), so I took it back and replaced it with Sunshine. I just felt like playing a platform game... but I don't think the 3D style ever worked for Mario or Sonic.

cube was way better than the wii for a serious gamer. (as porsche is way better for a serious driver than a honda civic. yet the civic sells better. so the it sells better arguement is moot).

yea man eternal darkness was one of the best games i have ever played as well. LOVED that bathtub scene! freakin classic.

edit: yea sunshine was probably the last mario console game i will ever play. i was very let down by it and could not finish it. the new one looks pointless to me.

i was actually enjoying sunshine, but then i got stuck and tried so many times, and eventually just gave up

FYI I got all the shine sprites in that game, ya pussies. They just don't make gamers like they used to.

The Gamecube wasn't THAT bad really.
In all honesty, I enjoyed it more than the Wii.

But this game... Man, it sucked.

I loved the game. I really liked the tropical setting and FLUDD wasn't that bad. Some parts were really hard but the challenge was fun. I'm the opposite of most people. I really liked Sunshine but didn't care for Mario 64. Galaxy is the shit though.

I always wanted to try this game, but then I'd hear bad stuff about it...Maybe I'll pick it up in the near future.

I also never got how people say that the Wii isn't for hardcore gamers...Pushing the same buttons to do the same stuff is? ...Not aiming this at anyone, just a thought. And if you don't believe the Wii has hardcore games, try No More Heroes. It gets slow later on in the game between missions, but the missions themselves, the bosses, and the assassination contracts are the toughest and some of the most inventive and fun I've played...And that was on easy. Freakin hard is kicking my ass.
