Do not know how many people saw this when they opened firefox but I haven't seen a topic so I will post it. I was thinking about entering just for fun not sure yet tho

Yeah but its free to enter. And you also get $250.00 which isn't terrible. Bragging rights is cool too.

I think the prize is great. You get credit on the official mozilla store for the official design, a free tshirt, and $250? What more would you want? I've seen tons of contests like this where you don't even get a free tshirt of your design you have to buy one.

I just think $250 is pretty low for them, I would expect it to be like $500 or something. Credit is really nice though.

But think about what the credit will amount to for a designer? Having Mozilla/FireFox on your portfolio is worth a lot more then $500. Most designers would be more then happy to do it just for the credit and portfolio aspect of it.

I think I'm gonna enter it. No idea what i'm gonna do for a design yet but I'll figure something out.

I'm just saying, Hugo like 100 winners get 500. Firefox 1 winner gets 250. Seems lame. And ALOT more will be doing firefox than Hugo.

Hugo Boss also sells clothes that cost like, hundreds of dollars. Firefox is free.
