Clan Logo: Latency

This is a logo I've made for a clan that I'm starting... the variations beneath is an idea that I had... for example, each member of the clan has their own variation of the logo if they wish if they want to stick it in their sigs or something etc idk.



Thoughts, criticism etc?

The bottom logo's are just example variations btw... obviously they won't be involved in the actually layout of the logo.

First logo soley using Illustrator.

pico I think you're confused...only the top one is the logo. the others are just variations.

its not bad at all, its not like totally amazing but its cool. any reason for the dots?

Only the top half would load anyway but it's the blending options id the inner shadow and stuff which puts me off anyway.

He's made much better.

I like them and the idea of the variations. What are they for?

When doing that logo I originally made LTC using that one big shape for the "L" and "T", then a combination of the big shape and dots for the "C". I didn't like the way it turned out, although I still liked the look of the "T" and the dot shape, so I arranged it like that.

The reason for there being 3 dots, is so they sort of represent a "loading" status. If I was to make a clan website, the logo would be presented in the centre of the screen, with the dots having an animation lighting up in order, while the big shape fills with colour from bottom to top to display overall load progress.

I like them. There isn't really anything special about them. They look clean and simple to me.
