over half of anime does terrible in japan. i was talking to my japanese teachers, nd she said the only people whi like anime in japan is the old people. younger japanese are into shows from the west, lol.

^Well, yeah. There is so much of it it's like any other media - movies, TV shows, music, etc. Of course half of it is gonna be shit and do bad.

Yeah, there is a style and sometimes the animation is sweet. I never get into any of it though.
