They'll be fine for sometime, but my host is switching from php4 to php5 and it seems vbulletin doesn't work, looking into if the upgraded software WILL work and then we'll upgrade or switch hosts.

I'm pretty sure vBulletin works fine in a php5 environment IIRC..

Perhaps there was some kind of config issue somewhere? Don't you have to set the environment in the Admin CP?

I may be wrong, it's been a while since I did anything code wise with vBulletin.

I'm not sure man, personally I think VB would.. it's a million dollar forum software company, it doesn't make much sense.

Yeah, VB should be fine with PHP 5. It is probably something you have to set up at install time or maybe even a separate download fro mthe VB website.

Any way of finding out?

They said it should work fine, we'll find out when my server gets rid of PHP4. I'm guessing it's just a simple flick of a switch to fix.
